Back in December (I believe it was) I surprised my hubby with tickets to see his favorite musician, Kenny Chesney. Time flew by and before we knew it, we were on our way to Sioux Falls for the day/night to enjoy the concert. We of course took some extra time out and visited a few spots in the city for some exploration.
I’ve seen MANY pictures etc. of the falls, but have never actually been there. Well, I finally made it! It also, did not disappoint. So beautiful!
Next we discovered the Japanese Gardens. This was probably one of my favorite spots in the city. SO very beautiful and peaceful. It almost seemed like a hidden gem of the city.
We also got a suggestion from an awesome colleague of mine to visit a local brewery called Remedy Brewing. I have to admit, this is probably on my top all-time favorite breweries I’ve visited. The beer was SPECTACULAR and the environment was very unique and relaxing. Of course we had to try the candied bacon. 🙂
We topped off the night witnessing a truly epic concert. So happy we were able to make this happen and enjoy another AMAZING weekend together! ❤
Since I (Bobby) had to travel to Duluth to work for a couple days. Derek and I decided to extend the trip a little and enjoy an extra night. Although we didn’t have a ton on our schedule to do, we enjoyed a night with our good friend checking out Bentleyville. We also met up with some friends we met on our trip last year for a great supper. Overall a wonderful mini-getaway. It’s the little things like this that make me truly happy! ❤ I do highly recommend checking out Bentleyville at least once in your lifetime if you haven’t before.
Derek and I got out last night and enjoyed a little late summer concert at the Bluestem Amphitheater in Moorhead. Although the artist wasnt probably our first choice, some free tickets and a date that actually worked with our schedules made the decision an easy one.
Now dont get me wrong. I enjoy his music and have listened to it for a few years, and I can now say honestly he is a VERY talented musician. If you get the chance, go see him. Here’s a few photos to enjoy. (I really should have taken one of us and Derek together there as well.)
I also just have to say how awesome and unique this venue is. So beautiful! Perfect for a show like this.
Derek got creative on our day off together. Say hello to the newest addition to our outdoor space. A pallet bar! Made with two pallets, a few spare boards we had around the house and 3 paver stones. I think we can consider this one a success!
Heres a few fun photos from the process!
Halloween is just around the corner and Derek and I are finally getting closer to completing our display for the year. We normally would have been long done a long time ago, however our priorities got shifted with the new house, moving etc.
Halloween has always been one of our favorites to decorate for! Anyone else have any Halloween decoration photos to share? Share them in the comments! 🙂
Here is some night-time photos!
